The presentation focused on the needs of medical translators, interpreters and editors, and how MITA can better help serve those needs.
An overview was presented of the widely diverse field of medical communications and the various professional organizations that are active in this field. This was followed by a discussion of the needs of professional medical communicators and the role of MITA.
