The Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS) Certification Exam

The Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS) will be offering its certification exam in East Asia for the first time on 23 May 2010. The exam is a means for qualified manuscript editors in the life sciences to demonstrate their editorial proficiency. Two BELS-certified Editors in the Life Sciences, Rick Weisburd and David Kipler, described the organization and the examination, and discussed the potential advantages of certification.
